Unhappy Bleeding during and after intercourse... HALP!

i am not new to sex.. my boyfriend and i were together for several months before this issue started.
this problem has been occuring on and off since november. about 5 or 6 times
there have been a few intances where my boyfriend and i are having sex
and suddenly i am bleeding vaginally... this isnt my period, and i feel no pain.
sometimes the bleeding is just mild but there have been times where the bleeding is really heavy.
i have gone to my doctor for a regular pap. and he says that everything is normal.
i was on the nuva ring and i usually kept it in during intercourse.. i thought that may have been the problem so i switched back to the pill.. and this seems to still occur.

has this ever happened to you? if so.. did you just learn to live with it or is there a way you've learned to stop it?

its so frustrating when we're both really into the moment and then suddenly theres friggen blood everywhere. ugh *rollseyes*

just looking for a little advice please and thanks

If you are satisfied that the doctor had all the facts and did adequate exam and testing, then you have to accept that breakthrough bleeding does occur and may disappear as unextectedly as it began. The arousal causes the lower to become engorged with blood and this may trigger the issue.

If the doctor was not apprised of the full nature of what is happening, then you may want to have another visit.

Bleeding from the vagina during sexual intercourse is never normal and should always be checked by a doctor.
