Question Could it be a urinary tract infection, lack of lubrication, or what?

Hi everyone. I recently had intercourse with my boyfriend. Well, afterward when I went to the restroom, I noticed a burning sensation when I urinated. Now, from what I have read, this is probably a UTI. But I just wanted to know if a lack of lubrication could cause such a problem as well?

If the symptoms persist for a few days, UTI is likely. If not, look at the female anatomy. The thrusting penis travels across the urethral opening and sometimes will cause irritation opening and closing it. If this was your first time, that could be the problem. Lubrication could help with that and so couls slight adjustment of position.

Oh ok. Thanks Brandye. It wasn't my first time and the symptoms have not persisted so I am going to assume that it was his thrusting penis across my urethral opening causing irritation as you said.
