Vaginal Soreness?

When we have sex, my partner usually is sore after the fact. Often to the point where further intercourse is not pleasurable. We typically go for 30-60 min, use a fair amount of lube, and ALWAYS have tons of foreplay for us both. I love going down on her, and she seems wet enough before penetration occurs: fingers go in just fine. As much as I would love to brag, I am not tremendously well endowed (8.5 inches, circumsized, not abnormally wide)

Has anyone else experienced this, or have any solutions to this problem? We would love for sex to be a purely positive experience without pain involved after the fact. We have gone to the gyno to see what the deal was, and the we were checked out as in the pink (sorry) of health. I've also found out that some condoms now are incorporating Aloe into their lubricants to ease this sort of thing. The Beyond Seven condoms being the most well known. Any thoughts?

If you are currently using latex condoms, she may be experiencing a latex sensitivity problem.

Me and Wife are going through this same issue right now. my Wife is pregnant and last night we had sex and afterwards she said her crouch was burning on her insides of her vagina, but she said it was normal during the sex. We haven't had sex before that in 5 days, so I told her to get it checked out asap to protect her and the baby. So she's saying that it's not hurting right now, but if we were to have sex it would hurt her. So any ideas?

Infamous - you are trying to hijack Philly's thread. Pregnancy adds other dimensions including reducing normal lubrication. Talk to the doctor.

Philly,

Your wife should start with a complete gyn exam explaining the problem to the doctor. Avoiding the latex condoms as Jedi suggests is the most obvious and good advice. If you are using vaginal spermicide, check the ingredients. There are only three spermicides commonly used. Change to a brand that uses a different spermicide ("active ingredient"). If you are using a lubricant other than water based (K-Y or Surgilube), switch to a water based. All others cause irritation in a few women.

Then, using an applicator for Gynol II (or other vaginal jelly), place a full applicator of either the vaginal jelly or personal lubricant into her vagina just prior to penetration. This will ensure an adequate amount of lubrication for your session.

Measure again. eight plus inches is rare in spite of what many young men here like to claim.

I'll definitely switch condoms and lubes around and see what happens. We've been to the gyno and checked out fine and don't use additional spermicides (she's on the pill). I never really thought about the latex sensitivity issue, and its definitely something to look into. Same with the included lube.

Thanks for the info, I've got some stuff to try and will follow up here for reference if others are experiencing the same problem.

Lubed condoms almost always use Nonoxynol-9, the most common of the vaginal spermicides and also the one more women have an allergy. There is not enough to do any good for contraception but there is enough for lube and allergic reactions. Use non-lubed, poly condoms and use water based personal lube.
