Bleeding

I have a friend and she is 25 and just now started having sex. she hurt some the first time and she did bleed some the first time. They have had sex a couple of times and then the other day he get deeper and she said it hurt so much and she has been bleeding some over the past 3 days. I thought maybe he only broke the hymen a little the first time and orke the rest when he went deeper. But why would she be bleeding days afterwards? She is backing some meds for your bruised ribs from work, so I wasn't sure if the bleeds were thinning her blood. I'm a male so I don't know, so from the females have you ever had this issue?

This is third-hand information. Not too reliable for medical advice. Time for her to see her doctor. All women should have a gyn exam before becoming sexually active.

Of course you are quite right Brandye, given your professial background. But I wonder how many ladies do go to the doc and say "I am about to have sex, is everything ok down there".
I suppose one could similarly advise blokes to go along and ask the doc if all is ok. However, I don't personally know of any reasons or conditions which would make it necessary for a guy to check things out with the doc. Unlikely there would be any STDs if the guy was a virgin. (Can you pick anything up from a toilet seat.?????)
Then let us not forget how embarrassed the average male is to go to the doc for a check on dangly bits. Ladies are used to this and are maybe more at ease. Blokes simply stand there all exposed, legs slightly apart, whistle quietly and look for faults with the paintwork on the ceiling.

That is why we recommend that all women have an exam when they are sixteen. Statistically, that gets most before getting active without the need to say, "Doc, I am about to get laid; check me out." Physiologically, there are problems that can be noted and corrected.

There is little that can be wrong with the male that is not otherwise noticeable. We women have all the potential problems inside.
