Question IUD & The Posterior Fornix???

I have been researching the anterior & posterior fornix, am I'm wondering if there could there be a potential problem by trying to stimulate the posterior fornix with an IUD in place? I'm worried about the retrieval cord accidentally being pulled or bumping the tip that the cord is attached to & dislodging the IUD. I did a search but it didn't turn up anything similar. Any thoughts???

P.S. If anyone has a site that they would recommend for learning more about the anterior & posterior fornix, I would really appreciate it

Not to worry. The strings lose their stiffness quite soon after insertion and it takes a mighty tug to get it out. You would feel it very disctinctly. Otherwise it just floats around in there a bit.
