Possible UTT?

My girlfriend has been complaining of her vagina burning for the past week. She said it burns when she urinates and we cant even have sex anymore because she says it hurts really bad. One thing I noticed was that even though she was extremely aroused her vagina felt really tight and even though wet to the touch it felt kinda dry when trying to insert my penis even with condoms that had lubrication on them. She described it as it feeling like my penis got bigger (which im pretty sure didnt happen even though that would be awesome) Im waiting for her to talk to her mom who is a nurse and possibly to go to the doctors but I figured Id try to find out ahead of time what might be wrong with her. Thanks in advance People!

Your girlfriend sounds like she is timid and embarrassed about discussing things with a doctor or having an exam and to the extent that even talking with her mother has not happened for a week. She would much rather put up with possible health risks not to mention the discomfort and inconvenience than a few minutes embarrassment and getting treatment.

This is something to be concerned about and she is in denial paralyzed by the truth and not being able to move herself toward treatment. I rather doubt there is anything you can do except help her to understand that this might very possibly become serious the longer she waits to get a diagnosis and treatment.

Do not try to figure it out on your own. You do not have the same physiology and so cannot identify with the issues. Nor do you have the training to differentiate among the various issues that could cause this sensation. The chances are very high that she has a vaginal infection and has some swelling. It could be bacterial, viral or fungal.

It is her body and women need to learn to care for their bodies. That is part of growing up. Never having experienced this before, she cannot differentiate between a simple problem and a potentially much more serious one. She can suffer or she can get it checked out and cured in a few days. It will not cure itself.
