bleed when aroused

Hopefully someone will know the answer. Whenever I have an erotic fantasy or dream I start to bleed like I'm getting a period. I'm not masturbating or anything just dreaming or fantazing. I haven't talked to this with my doc kind of scared too. I don't bleed every time but it does happen more than I'd like to have happen. I haven't had sex in years and really I'm not that experienced sexually. I'm in my mid-thirties. What could be wrong? I was wondering if my hormones were out of whack.

I'm going to the doc as soon as I can but I thought I'd give ya a little more info. My periods have never been regular, they would come every 6 weeks or every 2 weeks, basically they've always came whenever. I'm wondering if that's got something to do with it.

A year ago I discussed my irregular periods with my doc. After discussing it with my doc we decided to put me on Seasonale because I wanted as few periods as possible well it turns out that my body can't go 3 months without a period so I just switched to Yasmin. I'm just starting my second pack. I've noticed that I'm less moody. I wish I never took seasonale at all after I read some posts on here. I noticed the bleeding when aroused more on the seasonale than without it. So do you think that it might be my hormones? It's going to take a while to see my doc so I'm trying to come up with ideas myself so that she and I can talk about it.

Brandye is a jewel in the rough
Patients on Seasonale sometimes take several months to adjust to leaving it. The Yaz should be better at regulating your periods. I would recommend to patients that they wait a few months after leaving Seasonale before starting on other hormones.

Short answer, then, it is hormones. Now what you and your doctor have to figure out is what is caused by your natural hormonal cycle and what is caused by the hangover from Seasonale.

Thanks Brandye! I thought it was my hormones. They've been "off" for quite some time that's why I went on birth control. Of course my doc checked me out before putting me on Seasonale and found nothing wrong. I started my second pack on Sunday and much to my surprise today no more period. Never happened like that on Seasonale. Even though I figured it was hormones I'm still going to go get checked out. Thanks so much!!

Well it was definitely my hormones!! I spent the afternoon with this guy I've been dating and well you know one thing led to another and I was fine (no bleeding) so the Yasmin is working great!!!
