Upon using my favourite toy today (nothing fancy, a soft dildo), I finished myself off and pulled it out to find that it was covered in blood. I'm on day 5 of my birth control, and have had no spotting in the last 5 days. I also haven't had sex within the past few weeks (curse you army boys!). Is there any condition that could have caused this?

*it's a medium sized dildo, about 6'' long, 1.3'' in diameter. I don't like larger toys.

I'll be seeing my doc about it, but am curious for the time being.

A bit of random blood happens to many whether or not on the pill. Your description "covered in blood" is disturbing. That would seem to indicate that something tore. Could be minor; could be more serious; only an exam can determine.
