while i've done and seen my share i do remain a virgin in the traditional sense. i also don't use tampons because i don't enjoy the sensation i get when pulling them out, i'm pretty tight down there you see.
that being said i've been a highly sexual child ever since i was very young. i was one of those girls masturbating before i knew that sex existed or even what i was doing. all i knew was that it felt good. so i'm now nearly 18 and have moved on to more experimental forms of masturbation, the high-pressure shower head being one of my favorites.

A close encounter of the first kind should determine this. Use a (flash)light, hand mirror, and your fingers, and go on an inspection tour. You'll be able to determine if the hymen is still (partially) intact, or torn. Either way, it is always good for a person to know what their vulva and its pieces parts look like.

Possible. The hymen is a very thin membrane that usually tears in a couple spots and then just wears away. It does not usually tear off as a piece.

What you found in the tub could have your separated hymen or it could have been something you washed from in the folds of your pudenda. Take Doc's advice. Look yourself over.
