need some help and some advise

well me and my girlfriend have both decided she has a bad yeast infection. all the symptoms are there. this is her first one so she was realy worried about it. now her period was supposed to be this week but all she is doing is spotting. could the inflamation be a cause of this? we are just woried that something more severe is going on. not that she is pregnant, i have never ejaculated inside her or near her opening. if you have any info please let me know. thank you.

If you two are sufficiently knowledgeable to diagnose, why not treat? No, the inflammation would not cause this.

In the meantime, maybe she should see a doctor. These are easily treatable - if that is what it is and proper treatment is used.
