pregnant on period?

i was wondering if a girl is more or less likely to get pregnant when shes on her cycle?

how about when on the pill?

If a woman is perfectly regular in her cycles, pregnancy is unlikely, but possible, during her period. If a woman is irregular with her period, she is also irregular ovulating and pregnancy can occur any time.

The pill properly taken protects a woman all cycle long.

Your chances of pregnancy are very low. If you are not on some hormonal form of contraception (pill, patch, ring, shot), you and your b/f should have some agreement that any time you both have your pants off, there should be a condom on his penis. You never know when those things are going to go off in young men and there are always sperm in the male reproductive system.

You did nothing particularly "stupid."We all take chances from time to time and, if we are lucky, get away with it. You simply took a risk and not a real great one, at that. The consequences are great and that makes the risk higher. I think every woman I know has done some rapid figuring in her head and taken a risk - often having to do with timing of her period. I have; you did. Not stupid, just risky.
