If you have access to a school clinic, local women's clinic or sexual health clinic, talk to them. Many countries have established special programs accessible through public health facilities.

Based upon where you are; look up clinics. I know Johns Hopkins has launched some free clinics for vaccination, I don't know if you are in or out of the US...

Thank you very much Brandye. I've been warned extensively about Breast Cancer but never Cervical. This was extremely informative for me and I appreciate it

Brandye

Can I just say ive read your various posts on what happens when you go for your test and it has put me at ease.

I am currently 22 and with my first sexual partner. I had my guardasil injections before I become sexually active and im now ashamed to say ive never been tested via pap smear.

After reading the threads on it I have decided that after my latest cycle I will go and get tested.

What also made me change my mind was a segement i saw on a medical show of a woman who contracted cervical cancer who was only in her 40's who has had to have her entire reproducetive system/urinary system/fecal system removed and catheters put in as well as internal gauze to hold her intestines up etc. This woman, jesus, ill never forget it for as long as I live suffered greatly and all becuase she got this terrible disease.
