early periods

well ive read a few of the messages on periods, but i did't find an answer to my question

I, like many girls & women, hate having my monthly period, and yes hate it more coz the last few years, ive started getting bad cramps on the first few days of it.

I have worked out when exactly i should get my period, as im never normally late and have it exactly every 28days. but My last two periods have been early. My one before was 2 days early, and my last was a day early?

I am not a virgin, and have a current bf- who i have been seeing for almost nine months. We are very careful wen it comes to using protection with sex. I like to make sure im on time for my periods..due to the whole 'pregnant' factor.... You can never be too safe, i think.

But yer, my last two periods have been early...So my question is, is this a bad thing, or is it that our body's change. I mean im not complaing...id def rather be early then late. but its nothing to worry about now is it?

To my knowledge, the odds of someone having their period exactly 28 days apart every month is not all that great. 28 days is just like an average number for women. Some start a little later, some start a little earlier.

I would say my average is around 28 as there are times I start 26-27 days later and then there are times I start 29-30 days later.

Periods just vary depending on what you've got going on. Stress can delay it and you can pretty much bet that if you're set to go on vacation or have sex or have plans or whatever, the day before or even minutes before you're set to go, it will decide to show up.
