Too sensitive

I'm having a really hard time having an orgasm during sex. I've had to fake it in the past and I feel really bad for doing it but I don't want to discourage my boyfriend. I’ve got an over-sensitive clit and for starters, when my boyfriend goes down on me, I’ll either have to tell him to stop because it hurts or I will have to fake it! I feel horrible but what can I do?? And then during sex, I’ve tried to rub my clit in order to orgasm but it doesn’t do the trick! I’m stuck!! What can I do? HELP!

You are having a rather common problem. Read Female Sexual Response on this forum. To go further, try the book Our Bodies Our Selves.

Inexperienced men tend to treat our clitoris as they want their penis treated and that does not work. Especially when the clitoris gets to the point that it is retreating, additional pressure will be a real turn off.

One-quarter of all women never experience orgasm. About half of us need stimulation other than penetration. Those of us in this group tend to need some "special" treatment to get there with a partner. Figure out your timing and response through masturbation and then guide your b/f through it.

Once the turnoff takes place, there is no recovering except a long break and starting over.
