Lubes

There are many products on the market to fix that. Lube yourself well my dear.

If you are using condoms, switch from latex, which is quite abrasive, to polyurethane. Most major companies make them and you can check out what labels by visiting Durex and Trojan online. Or switch to female condoms. They move with you rather than with the man and that would reduce irritation.

If you are shaving your pubic hair, that can be a source for irritation and this would indicate that you should stop shaving.

I am assuming that you are talking about normal sexual activity. I think most of us have gotten sore on wild weekends or things of that sort.

Shadow gives the best general answer: lube. If you are not on the pill, use a contraceptive jelly. Otherwise, I find Surgilube or K-Y (essentially identical products) good lubes that wash off easily and can be used indefinitely with no harm. No one is allergic to those products.

i find durex works better for me than ky. even though you are not meant to react to lube i have done in the past and have tried several different ones...so, so long that you know that their is a wide range of products you should be sorted...good luck

I had the problem of being super sore when I first had sex and we had to stop. The next time we got a well lubed condom and it didn't hurt. Also, if you aren't wet enough, you can try having him finger you first or use a lube as some other people have said.

hi! I also get sore but it's a bit different I think.
Anytime my bf enters me..it is REALLY painful. It feels like large bump or cyst on the upper wall rigt at the beginning (self diagnosis, I know). Sometimes I just grit my teeth and sometimes the pain will pass after a couple minutes, others not. It's not that I'm dry because I've either been extremely wet or we've used lube. It's really frustrating because all we want to do is make love!
I know I've got to see a doctor for a proper result, but any suggestions of what it could be?
Thanks!

No one should try to answer your question online. You should have had a gyn exam before becoming sexually active. Now, you must have an exam and you will need to tell the doctor exactly when and where it bothers you. There are possibilities running through my mind and they run the gamut from next to nothing to serious proble.

Get to the doctor and explain exactly what is going on. My guess is it will be a great relief for you.
