Workout Issues

I am really skinny. I am 6 foot weighting at 157 pounds. I checked a weight chart a few days ago I am underweight by about ten pounds. I want to gain weight and only in muscles.

I have a few problems. The first one is that I have a very high metabolism so I have trouble gaining weight. I have tried eating more, but with results. I try to eat between 3000 to 3500 calories per day. I also eat plenty of protein everyday.

I other problem is that I won't have time to go to the gym this year. My class and work schedule is very tight. I don't have any free time in between class and work. The only time I have to to workout is after work so I can only workout in my dorm room. I don't own any weights at the moment. What exercises should I do? When should I expect any results?

Thanks in advance

Pure bulk is usually added through heavy weight low repetition work along with high protein diets.

You can do quite a lot with just a set of resistance bands, pushups, and situps throughout the day.

Do a google search for calisthenics.

Or, go to the physical education department at your school and ask for calisthenics recommendations.

If you follow a disciplined regimen, you should start seeing results in about a month.

This can be accelerated by not posting self-pitying entries on your original, out of control thread.

I eat a lot of chicken so I am getting the protein.

What I do with resistance bands? Sorry, but I have little knowledge with workout equipment.

Should I do pushups and situps everyday? What should I do to workout my legs in my room?

Only for Elementary and Middle. High school is for one year. The problem with Middle and High is that half of the year is spent learning how to exercise in books and some sex ed. The other half is actually PE.

How many times do you need to be told... YOU NEED A HIGH PROTEIN
Drink, bar or shake to help with muscle tone after working out.
This chicken shit is getting old, it would be like me telling my personal trainer "I don't need the protein shake, I drink plenty of cum"

I can't afford protein bars, drinks, and shakes. They are too expensive. I just have to eat foods in high protein.

dammit Franklin, I gave you an absolutely no cost approach requiring absolutely no equipment. You are back to your old tricks of rejecting anything advised. Forget the goddam protein and do a google search on calisthenics. I just checked myself by doing that and found several wonderful sites.

Most people over-emphasize the protein to the point that it only makes their farts smell bad.
