I want to know if there are conditions that prevent a mans penis from ever getting completely hard.
After giving oral sex and a hand job to a friend, he ejaculated but his penis was never completely hard. While I realize that there can be many different reasons as to why this happened, I am curious to know if some men can never have a fully erect penis, and if so why?

Under about the age of 40, the primary reason is anxiety and lack of confidence. Beyond that arbitrary age, the valves that close the two sacs causing erection malfunction a bit or completely. This is when the erection dysfunction medications help.

If it was the first sex with him, give it another go. If the pattern repeats, he should see a urologist.

I have heard that smoking can make it not able to get as hard as for non-smokers because it dilates the blood vessels I think..
