Too much semen in prostate?

Ok so 2 weekends ago my girlfriend was at my College to visit me. Before this we had been talking really dirty to each other via text and phone and facebook for about two weeks. So I was getting a lot of wood if you know what I mean.. but I only masturbated like twice in that two weeks the last time being the monday of the week of the friday she came(I came too haha) but that friday night we were out drinking and I had to go pee like every 1 minute no joke and each time peeing was difficult..so I was really confused as to why this was happening. So my only conclusion was that a good amount of semen built up in my prostate from having so many erections that week. So I stopped drinking while we were out because it was very very annoying to have to go pee every time i just left the bathroom. So we come back to my room later and have intercourse and when I came the condom was filled about a 1/4th the way maybe a little more. So could the peeing problem be related to having a semen build up in my prostate? Also the peeing problem disappeared after sex.

When men get too much semen in the prostate, they simply have a wet dream or it seeps out. There is some relationship between the semen and the urine as you describe and it probably indicates a low level prostate infection.

It is irritation in the prostate (or the urethra) that gives men the frequent urge to relieve themselves. This can be caused by not completely emptying the bladder when urinating or by an infection. A real semen build up without relief can also have the same effect as an enlarged prostate. That causes a swelling that squeezes the urethra where it passes through the prostate and makes it difficult to completely void the bladder.

Your overall self-diagnosis is pretty good. If the situation continues, especially with frequent release of pressure, see your doctor because prostate infections come and go but do not cure themselves. All men are subject to these once in a while.

Ever since I had sex that night the problem has gone away. I urinate at a normal frequency now with a very strong stream.
