Foreskin Question

My foreskin won't go all the way back while I am hard. When i am soft I have no problems. It doesn't go back on its own either.

Will this effect intercourse?

Foreskins come in all shapes and sizes.

Some cover the Glans and Meatus {tip), some only partially cover the Glans, others have a straw-like protuberence that extends beyound the tip of the penis. What is the style you have?

It sounds to me like the opening of the Foreskin is not quite large enough. If true, my suggestion is to begin stretching it by taking a warm bath (or shower if no tub) and letting the warm water relax the skin. Next, take two fingers and pull against the opening in one quadrant and hold the pressure for several moments before moving on to the next quadrant, etc. This exercise will require several sessions so do not expect instant results. Over a period of a few weeks you should be able to widen the opening a bit more so that it will slide over the Glans when your penis is erect.

If you have a straw out in front, this exercise may be a bit more problematic. If not successful, then you can have the matter taken care of quickly in the doctor's office with a quick nick of the skin.

Once one or the other of these have been accomplished, you may find that your Foreskin will retract on its own during intercourse and when masturbating. There will be no problem if it does not cycle back and forth.

Why? Consider that the Foreskin has lots of sensitive nerve endings, also. Add to this the fact that the nerve endings in your Glans are hyper sensitive compared to those in a circumcised penis. So, retracted or not, you get double your pleasure!

Now, just how sensitive is your Glans? Can you touch and handle it when aroused and the Foreskin is retracted, or is it strictly hands off? Some guys can finger the Glans directly, others find it much too sensitive to do so, so can only stimulate the nerves when the Foreskin is forward. Experiment and see what works for you.

In addition, to the Frenulum, the most sensitive part of the penis, learn where one or more other hot spots may be that are often distributed around the Corona Rim. The secondary hot spots can be rubbed directly or thru the Foreskin for added stimulation that will intensify your arousal.

Lastly, please practice proper hygene by washing regularly under the Foreskin and around the Glans.

OK. When I get erect, part of the head is revealed. And by finger, you mean using a thumb to rub the glands by sticking it inside the foreskin

Thank you for the additional information.

More than likely the shape of your Glans is that it is larger around near the Corona Rim than it is up front. When engorged with blood it swells even more and more than the opening of the foreskin can comfortably accommodate. This is why I suggested you work on expanding it by doing the exercise.

I find that fingering the head works better the more aroused I am and when my fingers are moist. When about to roll the condom on she/you can rub the Frenulum and/or the top surface with a moist thumb and/or finger(s). Whatever feels good. If the nerves in the Glans are way too sensitive to touch then don't.

Try pulling the foreskin back a ways, don't try to stick your finger(s) inside under the foreskin. Now, that said, you may find that if the glans is lubricated that you can fully retract it; although if it is too tight, you may find that you cannot bring it forward until you are flaccid. See what works. I think you'll find it better over all to stretch the opening both for ease of retraction and for cleaning.

The condom can go over the foreskin or with it retracted, directly over the Glans. To each his own.

Thank you. I was worried about the condom issue.
