Dry and Peeling Skin on Penis

Okay well for the past week theres been dry skin on my penis that either flakes or peels off. after it peels off theres fresh skin underneath which is then dry and peeling the next day. When I get an erection the skin on my penis rips (literally rips apart). Any insight is as always greatly appreciated.

Welcome to a woman's world! Whilst thrush and yeast infections are normally ascribed to women, men can also contract them. It is more common in uncircumcised men but can show up with the circumcised as well. Your doctor can prescribe a cream that will clear it up quite quickly and also check the diagnosis. Nothing without examination can be a valid diagnosis.

It is possible that a you and a partner are sharing the problem She would need treatment as well.

Can this be spread to other parts of the body by contact? I've had the same problem but it also occurs in another place.

Yes, max, but there are other more common fungi that tend to set up shoppe on the torso. These are treated with either a cream or a ten day regimen of pills. They tend to come back after treatment depending upon the weather, your body chemistry and whether or not you are a nice guy. At their own pace, in other words. I have one patient who comes in each summer and gets his ten pills. Then it disappears for about eleven months. See a doctor if it bothers you or bring it up the next time you are in the surgery.

Browser will become famous soon enough
Did you do anything unusual before this started (something like a marathon weekend of unlubricated masturbation)?

thanks brandye. btw browser i kinda never use lubrication when i masturbate but... the fact that it keeps peeling every damn day was what had me worried. every time i get an erection the skin just rips lol. give a whole new meaning to rough sex for me haha. but yea i guess i better stop having sex with my girlfriend before i give it back to her. she just got over a yeast infection a couple weeks ago. I didnt know i could contract it from her so I didnt worry about not using a condom.

Can you get it from a dirty toilet? I've not had intercourse with anyone other than my girl and shes never had a yeast infection that I know of. The other place its spread to is a small patch on my face.

Not likely from a toilet seat. The spores of various fungi are all around us and all over us all the time. Some take root on our bodies and others do not. Your individual body chemistry has some effect on this. Whilst transmission through sexual contact occurs, these are not considered sexually transmitted diseases because they can occur to a hermit in complete isolation. The human mouth is a great source and is often the source of these infections in or on partners'genitals.
