I shall watch this thread with great interest; I am twice your age and regret that the volumes I shot years ago are now diminished. I hope Doc and Brandye et al pick up on this one.

Depending upon what source you ask, the average volume is between 2ml and 15ml (5ml is a teaspoon) with one-two teaspoons being right in the middle from a fresh start. What is a "fresh start"? From not having an ejaculation for a few days. A male of the species will masturbate anywhere from once a week or so, to once every few days, to once every other day, to one or more times a day. All this hinges upon- * age * sex drive * how frequently stress builds up in a person's life * how often he wants that "feel good" pleasure Examples- A boy right out of puberty will likely masturbate several times a day for a few weeks or months; soon thereafter, maybe no more than four times a day, if that many. The further a person moves away from puberty, the fewer times he will be able to ejaculate in a 24 hr. period. Older teens and young adults may find that two-three times a day is all they can muster if they really have the need to reduce sexual tension or stress, or, simply to enjoy the pleasure of it all, again. What is a "normal" sex drive? There is no one answer, what is normal is what works for you. You may have friends who enjoy a climax every day or two and someone else who has one every few days. You will also find that whatever a personal norm is for an individual, there are those occasions when there is a driving need to do it two or three times over a 24 hr. period. The volume of semen ejaculated varies on- * how hydrated your body is (have you been drinking lots of fluids) * number of times a person has ejaculated within a 24 hr. period The more you ejaculate in a day, the lower the volume will be with each successive one. In order to replenish and have a "full load" after running the well dry, it is necessary to wait up to 72 hours. If you do have one or more climaxes a day, you will find that the longer you wait before doing it, again, the more volume you will have and the more instense your orgasms will be. Having an ejaculaton intensifies an orgasm. Having a large ejaculation feels better than one in which the volume of fluid is much lower. A person's desire for strong orgasms, the need to reduce stress and tension, along with the desire for the simple pleasure of it all, whether from masturbation and/or sex with a partner, it becomes one of managing how frequently you climax. I'm new here and if I may add my two cents.
First, and I wish I could quote you the source, but I read once where your body (genes/DNA etc.) is designed to reproduce and when you masturbate it knows that you are not mating (similar to a wet dream) thus it does not ejaculate the same amount of sperm as it does when you are "mating" theoretically to store some should you have the opportunity to reproduce. That said, if you want to masturbate everyday, trying edging or masturbating up to but stopping just short of ejaculation. This does a couple of things for you. First it does store your cum. Secondly, it trains you to discipline yourself not to cum when the sensation first hits. Finally, by exercising the Kegel muscles (those used to stop the flow of urine or when you cum) when you ejaculate, you will shoot harder. I'm in my mid-forties and I masturbate everyday to target and work the Kegel muscles and to help desensitize my penis but I don't ejaculate. I don't take medications but do take vitamins and supplements and I exercise daily, including (and don't snicker) yoga. I haven't seen my ejaculate reduce in amount and if anything there appears to be more, though that may be perception. I hope this helps. |
