Circumcision

OK I am not circumcised and I was wondering what effects it is gonna have during sex. When I masturbate it is fine, but I was wondering the possible effects it is gonna have.

That is actually a very hard question to answer both because there is very little good science on the issue and a lot of beliefs. We do know that simply by the glands being exposed there is some nerve damage, but to what extent we do not know. Also there can be sensitive tissue removed such as the inner foreskin and in some cases the frenulum. Both of these contains a fare number of nerve ending. Once again we do not know to what extent that this affects ones sex life. There are some men that have been circumcised as an adult and say that it improved there sex life. There are also men that say it harmed their sex life. I have a friend that is looking in to foreskin restoration because he is so dissatisfied with his circumcised state. The problem is this question is mostly personal option.

For males circumcised as infants, we have no basis for comparison.
For males circumcised as adults, you have a basis for comparison.

Men with foreskins benefit from having sensitive nerve endings in the glans as well as surrounding it with those within the foreskin. It's double your pleasure, double your fun. Those of us who were "cut" as infants go thru life with no other frame of reference. For years the nerves in our glans have been exposed to the elements and constant rubbing against clothing, reducing our total sensitivity. As pleasurable as stimulating our penis is, more intense sensations are possible by having an intact penis.

As for intercourse, much depends upon whether or not a man's foreskin is retractable and if so how easily or freely it retracts. The next part of the equation is whether or not he wears a condom which will reduce any man's sensitivity.

Some men have reported that engaging in intercourse with the foreskin retracted is more than they can tolerate, other men are OK with it retracted or moving back and forth while stroking. This is something only personal experience can answer.

Maintaining a healthy penis is easier sans foreskin because it is easier to clean. Is your question academic or are you considering becoming circumcised? If so, you will probably have a few months of hyper sensitivity because of your exposed glans. Later, you will find that the exposure as noted will not bother you and you will become used to the reduced sensitivity. Do people like the difference? I only know of one man who as an adult had his foreskin removed for medical reasons. He has reported that he does not like the "new" penis, although, we have not discussed the matter lately.

I hope this is of help. Why did you ask?

From a woman's perspective, those cultures which practice ritualistic circumcision have half the rate of cervical cancer of other cultures. Examining the smegma accumulated under a foreskin shows that there is a higher incidence of STDs passed on by uncircumcised men.

Thats strictly correlative which if we are talking about causation, means absolutely nothing. Also Israel has high rates and parts of Asia have low rates so it is not even a good correlation.

No, we are not talking correlation, we are talking covariance. The rate in Israel is 4.1 and among New York Jewish women, 4.8 - about the lowest you will find anywhere.

The "part" of Asia with very low rates is Japan. Circumcision is nearly unknown but the famous Japanese fastidiousness with personal hygiene is generally considered to be the difference.

One thing you'll want to do before you have sex is make sure that the foreskin can fully retract behind the head while you're erect. Otherwise it could get stuck back there during sex and be painful/lead to more serious problems. You'll also want to practice putting on a condom so that part will go smoothly.

What i may do is before sex or masturbation is pull it back just to get it used to it. Would that work?

Try it each way and decide for yourself.

As for masturbation, I'm surprised you haven't experimented by now.
