I do not have one to wash but am very interested in the cleanliness of those I meet socially.
Retract the foreskin (whatever you have of it) and wash well around the corona of you penis with any good, mild bathsoap; Rinse well and dry. In the process the shaft and the head will have been adequately cleansed. For those whose foreskin does not retract fully (or it does painfully), talk to your doctor. A foreskin that will not retract fully prevents proper cleansing. Sometimes this can be stretched; sometimes a little nick with a scalpel is necessary. The stuff that collects under the foreskin (or the clitoral hood of women) can have some real nasty stuff develop.

As much as I love mine, I don't really give it much more thought than the rest of my body in the shower. I use a good body wash applied liberally on a washcloth and go over everything. Soap it up, wash it off. I'm circumcised though, so it's not all that complicated. What CAN be complicated (for me at least) is the area at the back of the scrotum and going up to the anus . . . . washing it no prob, but making sure to get all the soap off is important or it can cause some uncomfortable rashes.

As long as you are not allergic to soap there is no problem if you don't leave the soap on for very long and washing does not give way to masturbation using soap as a lubricant. Soap removes natural oils which we need from the skin.
Just use lots of soap or shampoo or bath gel or what ever you like. Don't forget the scrotum and the area behind and around it. Go for the entire pubic-crotch area. Rinse well. |
