Shaving causes ingrown hairs...Laser hair removal?

I am half Norwegian, and half Italian, I'm lucky discovery channel film crews don't follow me around for their Big Foot documentary...anyway, I have had my back laser treated, my chest is fine as it is but my cock has hairs that grow about two inches up the shaft. It's wierd, but every now and then I'll have a hair that seems to grow 4 inches in one day (yes, it's true). Well when I shave my shaft I get usually at least one ingrown hairs to the point of infections.

Sure, it can be done if you can afford it, stand the discomfort and find someone who will do it. Mostly the operators are accustomed to doing this work on women's genitals rather than on men's. Im not a real hairy man but I love the feeling of being shaved. I too, however get an ingrown or two hair which really sucks. My ingrown hairs usually happen near the base of my cock but its really uncool....any shaving tips to prevent this from happening?????
