Question Want opionions on how to Boost Testosterone naturally? Herbs/Supplements??

Husband is in mid 40's, he has low normal testosterone levels (300's) (Normal is 250-1100) , also his Free testosterone levels are low normal, tested 4 different days. He is fatigued , lower sex drive than used to have. He is not depressed. I think he has always been a Lower Testosterone male as he has never been aggressive, very few hairs on his chest & still has a full set of hair on his head. Encronologist says NOTHING can naturally raise testosterone levels, others say things like Weight lifting, exercising, eating meat & having sex can raise your levels. Who is correct? I did start him on TongKat Ali herb, anyone familiar with this? and Horney Goat weed, also L-arginine for sexual heath. They say the Tongkat can raise Test levels, not sure yet, but it does seem to have an effect on morning erections being more consistent. We are able to have sex every other day despite these lower levels. Encronologist said with levels this low now, he will probalby fall below normal in the near future & be eligable to get the Testosterone Replacement Therapy (creams, patches, shots by persciption). But in the meantime, we are trying to get his Sex drive MORE driven. And we all know that has alot to do with Testosterone levels. Advice???

The endocrinologist is correct.

Sex every other day for a man in his mid-40s is really more than you can expect. Regardless of the testosterone levels, the whole body is aging and the muscles involved get tired.

The stuff you are playing with has some good folklore behind it but never supposrted by true medical studies. Advice on herbals and supplements is available from homoepathic and naturopathic physicians and some really qualified herbalists. The adverts you are reading are to make money with no regard for efficacy.

Do you know any good message boards/forums that deal with talking about these Herbs/supplements. I do not have any of those kinds of Doctors/specialists in my area. I doubt insurance would cover anything like that, would it ? I have a PPO, a little better than a HMO.
