Absolutely 0 Libido
Okay, so I had been diagnosed with low test a while back, started taking an AI and test booster. (Arimatase Inhibitor to prevent conversion to estro) Anyways, didnt give a significant increase to libido. Noticed I would have erections more frequently, but I wasnt like OMFG I need to do someone right now!
Then I started doing squats, which not only increases GH levels in the human body, but is supposed to increase test levels as well. Sadly though, my libidio has disappeared, I mean I cant even remember the last time I got hard without massive amounts of touching. I was able to hook up with a girl while I was at a friends party earlier this week, but I didnt have any urge to go past making out, in fact rather than engage in sex (of any kind) I actually just wanted to cuddle with her. WTF is wrong with me? I mean to the resident MD's does this sound normal. Is this even due to a lack of testosterone cuz my depression has cleared up (guessing it was testosterone based depression cuz I went in to the docs, and they said my levels were back to normal.) I cant go to the doctors cuz I have no med or school insurance, and its getting severely frustrating.

I did. I went through a cleansing program, and stayed off the supps for about 2 months. Just slept, ate healthy, and I stayed away from the gym.
Then a little while back I started the AI and after I started to feel better depression wise, I began working out more. Thats when the libido dropped. For the record all I am taking is protein a multivitamin and milk thistle for liver health. Edit: oh and 60mg blend of 6, 17-keto-etiocholeve-3-ol tetrahydropyranol 3, 17-keto-etiochol-triene and 2,5,7-tryihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavone. Basically the chemical names for the aromatase inhibitor and test boosting.

The US NIH contracted a study several years ago. You can find it on line. Because it is over five years old, there are some caveats. They did find some slight, not statistically significant, improvement in SOME liver function. Impotence is a documented side effect.
You are learning why doctors are circumspect with supplements. Anything that can do good can do harm.

Who is prescribing all these supplements? If you are self-prescribing then you have a fool for a patient. If you are taking the suggestions or recommendations of some gym employee without knowing his/her credentials you are taking major risks, as you have been describing here and elsewhere. If you are spending money at a health food store, then talk to the certificated herbalist, not a salesclerk. Herbs, like medicines have side affects and adverse interactions with other drugs. Unless you have done the research, then it seems to me you are operating on wishful thinking and this can get you into trouble. An herbalist can assist. These are often the owners/managers of health food stores or knowledgeable employee. Sales clerks are not who you should be talking to except at the checkout register.

What the heck is the point of all the supplements? What's wrong with simply working out to be healthy? A well balanced diet and multivitamin adjusted for the necessary calories is more than enough for 99.9999999999999999999999% of the people in the world when combined with exercise. If you aren't an athlete for a living(and a very large amount of those don't bother with those things either) why take risks with your health trying to push your body beyond it's natural limits? There's no monetary gain, there is no extra "achievement" above what you would have reached on a normal diet because the true benefit of fitness goals(assuming one is already healthy) for most people is simply the mental discipline learned and confidence that comes with knowing what you can do.

There are several reasons for supplements. The field of work I am entering requires a certain physique. I have a lot of problems gaining lean body mass, and cutting fat. Im a mix between a mesomorph and ectomorph, but I got neither of the good attributes from either type.
The supplements were recommended by a few different sports nutritionists and trainers I know...Not just some sales clerks or gym guy. But I did not just randomly say ok I will take whatever you say works. I have done my research on the products as well. For instance, I was once told of a substance called tren extreme. Everyone under the sun took it, and they were gaining tons of muscle. Rather than just jump on the bandwagon and take it, I did my research and found out it was a pro-hormone. Two hydrogen molecules from its cousing trenbolone (steroid). Taking it would have really destroyed my manhood. The protein supplementation is for muscle growth. To maximize anabolism post workout, I drink a protein shake. And to prevent muscle break down throughout the night I drink a shake before bed. I am aware than taking any amount of protein past the muscle recovery and maintainance, will cause your body to secret excess calcium. Although it is not an incredibly high amount I am still careful as too how much I ingest. The Multivitamin is a combination of pills. Antioxidants to help with free radicals released during exercise, vitamins such as a b d etc to help ensure proper functions, potassium to prevent cramping, a digestive blend of acidophilus and other beneficial bacterias to ensure proper protein breakdown and uptake, fiber, and finally milk thistle which was just to ensure proper liver protection (this was because this multi is meant to be taken with another product by the same manufacturer...a pro testosterone supplement that contained a few prohormone type products. I believe they were methylated which is hard on the liver and therefore thistle was included in the multi)

Ducy..stop this now...this is nonsense. Go & get Muscle & Fitness Magazine and follow it.
I have watched many build the hard way--doing & pushing limits. One is myself, another my brother, another is a friend who is a personal trainer w/his own studio. Others involved in the supplements & steroids? NUTS...only look good for a short period of time then they loose it. If we don't work out, we don't loose the muscle! You don't get a good body out of a bottle...it take time to work & to break through plateaus.
