myth or fact?

I was just wondering if it was true if wearing briefs instead of boxers really lowers a guy's sperm count? Is that true or made up? Also, if a guy masterbates often, would that make it harder for him to have children later on?

Brandye is a jewel in the rough
A grain of truth taken too far. Heat does decrease sperm production. If we assume that briefs keep the testes closer to the body, then we conclude that this is true. It has never been clinically demonstrated.

The male body is a sperm machine. Each ejaculation pumps out 400 million sperm. The production does not decrease significantly until much later in life. You can jack off all you want without harming your potential for becoming a father.

In theory it's true. In reality, it's doesn't really matter because nobody has ever been able to show that it makes enough difference to notice. With couples who are trying to have children, some men will wear boxers instead of briefs but it's not known if this actually helps. Long story short, don't bother changing underwear just for sperm count.

If he looks better in boxers, maybe he might want to wear them for you. Otherwise just pick whatever he's more comfortable in.
