Phimosis - Couple of Q's for the Experts

Okay, first- I have phimosis, which I'm working on stretching out. I've read that doing in the shower will work best due to the water, but my foreskin stretches less in the water than it does dry- is this just because the water doesn't lube as good as natural stuff?

Second- I have read also that sex without a condom can be uncomfortable (due to phimosis), but it's uncomfortable even with a condom for me...is there a certain way to put on a condom with phimosis to make it less uncomfortable/painful, until I remedy the situation through stretching?

thanks!

Your foreskin likely stretched farther but the warmth of the water had your shaft a bit fuller.

For anyone having difficulty with phimosis, seeing a good urologist can be quite helpful. There are alternatives from the stretching to circumcision and a good doctor will discuss many with you.

I emailed an organization that is supposed to have a list of urologists for any given area, hoping they would email me back with the nearest to my area, but they never returned the email. it was a month or two ago, so i don't even remember what it was called lol.

oh, and...why does your sig at the bottom say 'dont wear cheap bras'? lol just curious?

your GP or family doctor can make a referral to a urologist.

It says do not wear cheap bras because they are uncomfortable, unflattering and really do not fit properly.

If anything...actually use the yellow pages lol
Not sure where you live... but if in the States and have insurance... either go to your insurances website...or call the member services # on the back of your ID card... and ask what DRs are in your area and in your network.

You can tell I work for an insurance company...LOL

One last question- does anyone know the 'proper' way to apply a condom with phimosis? I'm not going to have any medical treatments/surgeries, because it's stretching quite well and I can get it about 1/3 retracted over the head when erect now.

So how should I apply condoms? Should I let the skin bunch up in the end so it doesn't get stretched too far and become uncomfortable, pull it back and hope it goes in better and doesn't stretch too far and become uncomfortable, or just try different ways and see which works best?

Quick update- i can now uncover about 85+% of the glans when flacid, so now i'm going to start working on doing it when erect...i do worry, though, about the skin getting stuck behind the head- what keeps this from happening every time the skin is pulled back?

I'd like to help you but condoms for me are long gone. I am also not a man & do not have to teach this...I leave it for the men. Try sending a PM to DVDBear or asking Brandye...both are excellent with such issues & can shed perhaps some insight for you! Also ask doc...

I really urge you to see a urologist or, at least, talk to your family doctor. We have all encountered phimosis that needs some form of correction. Thaough I must admit not too many men come to me volutarily!

The degree of the phimosis determines what treatments may help. There is no pill for this. Stretching is sometimes the best way to go. Sometimes a little nick with a scalpel and sometimes a bit more. Only the doctor canhelp you with this after examination.

I will say categorically that proper hygiene is impossible with phimosis that will not allow full exposure. This has future consequences.
