Masturbation Variations

Quick question...

I usually masturbate "dry" i.e. just my hand...when having sex with my girlfriend I last a little shorter than I'd like to, and I feel like its because of how great it feels, its like a sensory overload...

Will changing my masturbation habits to using lube or something that will make the sensation more like what my gf "feels like" translate into longer staying power as i get used to the feeling?

Not likely. Aging will help you last longer. The good news is for those who come quick is that there is always more available.

Using lube will make it feel different, but will not necessarily translate into longer staying power. In fact, it may make you come more quickly due to the intensity of the feeling. You could also try using a masturbation sleeve (with lube), some of those can feel remarkably like the real thing (or about as close as you can get). Definitely use lube though, it really feels a whole lot better.

Well i know that I will come quicker when masturbating w/ lube as compared to without...but my mode of thinking was that since masturbating w/ some kind of lube/hand cream/vaseline etc. will mimic the "feeling" of my gf better so that as I "practice" more with myself and the lube, I'll get used to that feeling and when I'm with my girlfriend my staying power will be increased.

I'm not looking to cure a case of PE, its just seems that everytime time my gf is about to come, I beat her to the punch by like...30 seconds. So its not really worth it for us to stop and then start again once I've calmed down, and aside from regular foreplay there's no need for me to get her going up to the last minute as I would with a case of PE. I'm just looking to be able to hold out a tinsy bit longer so she can have a more intense orgasm because I can keep going while she has it, rather then be finishing just as hers starts.

I don't know if staying power really has anything to do with that. My partner can go a LONG time if he wants (long as in an hour or more) but if I start to come its rare he can stop, I guess because how us women react when we're coming...noise and body reaction wise. It does happen like you describe sometimes though...which always makes me sad because either I don't come, or its just a little one.

Tip that he does that work for me...when he gets that close he slows down and rubs my clit, or comes out entirely and fingers/oral a bit, then back in. Either that or get her really ready beforehand, so shes sure to come before you. Thats my favourite way.

I think much depends on how long you have been a couple. Does it matter if you both reach the goal who crossed the finishing line first? The better you know your partner (time) you adjust to each others needs. This does not mean you have to start off with simultaneous orgasms....Keep practicing!

Sera is right. You don't need to have simultaneous orgasms to be satisfied. You can always bring your partner to orgasm by other means if you have already climaxed, and it can be just as enjoyable for her.

Yeah thats true, but if he cums its usually another 5-10 minutes before he's able to...and you loose your closeness to orgasm.

Aviator29 will become famous soon enough
Solution: Sit on your hand for about 15-20mins until it falls asleep and you can't feel it anymore. Then quickly close your eyes and start wackin it. They call this the "Stranger".

Of course it feels better when a girl is doing it for you. You can't simulate the contact of another human being.
