Diabetic and EDS
I am diabetic and have been for 15+ years. My first years were spent in denial and my first diabetic symptom was to lose my erectile ability. Big deal, I thought. I'll be the oral man. Guess what, now I'd like to have penetration abilities too. I've tried Viagra, Ciales, etc. Basically zip. Now come my questions. Injection or implant? I have a feeling that the implant is the way to go. My question on the implant is that there are times I can get a semi-erection and I think this is a problem with an implant. I'm looking at the pump type of implant.
Where am I going??? |

I have seen the injections, they are slightly invasive but not permanent. They appear to work and the usefulness wears off (non-permanent) and easy to use. The implant? Many bad reactions resulting in a non-functioning penis & it's very invasive the surgery and permanent. Resulting in permanent damage.

I was looking for opinions and background. I won't do anything without my urologist. A casual observation says the implant is 100% reliable, or close to that. I'm used to injections, I'm a diabetic. LOL My diabetes is now under absolute control (A1C=5.1)

Speak to the urologist. Remember one is permanent [implants] and one is a temporary measure [injections]. Perhaps the implant is 100% when performed properly. There is a spin on that 100% figure....trust me. Seek opinions of many qualified Urologists...
