cjb1981 has a spectacular aura about
Testicle soreness.

For the past couple of days, my right testicle has felt like it is being lightly squeezed to the point that it is making my stomach hurt a little. It's not constant pain, but it tends to feel a little worse if I'm sitting. There are no lumps or bulges anywhere, I haven't been hit there, and I haven't had sex sense the beginning of August. She is my long time girlfriend who is free of any std's, with the potential exception of a yeast infection. Also, my job requires a lot of manual labor, is it possible to literally "strain a nut"? Any thoughts?

Need to see a MD to r/o a hernia, torsion, or an inflammation to the testicle...and others. I highly doubt this is a STD...you need a full medical eval....

-wittyphrasehere- will become famous soon enough
I had something similar happen to me. A slight pain and pressure with righty despite I didn't hit it or stress it.

It might be a slight dislocation, where only time can fix it, but check with a doctor just in case.

Ducy is just really nice
I would have to guess its a hernia...sometimes...dont know the average or statistic, but a guy gets a hernia and the muscles push through into the scrotum...that could cause the problem since you said your job requires a lot of manual labor.

The OP needs to seek a doc...epididymis is also a consideration, God forbid a torsion; hopefully it's a pulled groin muscle or at worst a hernia.....Get to the Doc ASAP; please.

It's getting much better, I hardly notice it at all now, and that's only when I'm in an odd position. I'm pretty sure I just pulled a muscle. I've pulled muscles before, but this one was REALLY close to my "equipment" so I freaked when it felt weird, I kind of panicked And Sera, if all goes as planned, I'll have medical insurance by the middle of November, so I won't be as gun shy about going to the doctor after that. Thanks people.

Since we are in Oct. already; call the doc and make an appointment for a full history & physical on the date your insurance begins. Usually insurance companies begin your coverage on the first of the month. Good luck!

TSDBuz is on a distinguished road
I've been reading a few posts on this and have a similar problem. I have talked to Docs about it, but generally get something along the lines of "nothing serious." thought I would bump this to see if anyone has similar problems or a suggestion.

I have had this problem for a while. It only happens maybe once or twice a month, if that. I have sometimes gones months without it happening at all. But occassionally I will get this pain in my testicle. When I'm sitting still, it feels fine, but when I move (walk, run, etc) it gets worse and worse. Generally it starts gradually and just gets worse. It always goes away after a few hours, sometimes it will be after I wake up the next day.

I have tried to link it to some other behaviors, like dehydration or over exerting myself, but I can't figure out what it might be linked to. Any ideas?

It may be nothing to worry about, but see a doctor if it persists. I've noticed something similar myself. From time to time, I've had some tenderness in the left testicle. I can't find any lumps etc., and its not due to any injury that I can recall. It occurs infrequently, is not severe and usually goes away after a few days. It doesn't affect my sexual performance, and there is no pain when I ejaculate. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps I strained something while I was sleeping without realising it.
