Not unknown, Demon, but you are right. Might be something else going on.

well i've got an appointment coming up on the 23rd, cause thats when i run out of anti-biotics, i'll probably need another two month regiment. This of course sucks because these things mess with my stomach.

I'm hopeing its just from the infection, but my orgasms haven't been...satisfying in a while, it takes alot to cum, i find myself loosing my erection completely and without warning sometimes, and when i do mange to cum, it feels like less than it should comes out and sometimes it feel thick, like i've got to give it a little extra push to get it to really come out. Even then it never comes out strongly.

also, i'm 20, and i hate to have to worry about this, but what are the chances these problems are going to have long term effects on my ability to conceive children?

Call the office today and get in to see the doc, tell the office you are experiencing more pain. This should be resolved, continuing antibiotics is not a good thing without a re-check since you have a change of symptoms. Testicular pain can be a symptom of many things.

I have had many of the same symptoms from a prostate infection recently and am still on antibiotics now. I have only 5 days left of my 6 week cipro prescription and my symptoms are pretty much gone now but It's taking awhile to get confidence back while having sex. It's crazy how losing an erection a few times (even when you know it's from something medical) can get in your head even afterward. I think about it at least once every time now and then have to focus again to finish...

Ya, so just a follow up, i got the anti-biotic i was on changed and its really helped with a lot of the problems, i'm in considerably less pain and the.. other things...seem to be subsiding quicker. I haven't actually had sex since the infection (that i didn't get through sex, it was a normal infection that had migrated there). There is however this girl, that well, i don't want to be over confident but its pretty much going to happen in the next couple of weeks...anything i should watch out for?

One big thing, do not tell her about this infection sine it wil be misconstrued! And no oral, her down on you, since they have a smell!

Glad to hear all is okay!!!

no her down on me at all? dose that count with foreplay or are we talking just the big finish. Cause she keeps bragging about this putting the condom on with her mouth trick...and...ya, sorta bumped to try that one out.

Other than that I assume condoms at all time, i might be one of the few guys that likes using them, its a weird security thing i dunno.

With not telling her about it, i dunno if thats a good idea or not, i mean i'm going to be having sex with this girl, i feel like i should be open and honest with her. Then again thats gotten me in trouble before with other things.

Depends on how well you know her. If you want to tell her, do it. But I would not. There are times when antibiotics or an infection can smell, well foul. You have to be comfortable with her and with what you tell her. To be blunt, I can smell Ampicillin in someones urine & at times other antibiotics excreted from the body but then I am used to the smell & "look" for it. I can generally smell strep in someones mouth--examining patients (and a whole host of other infections).

Not all prostate problems are caused by bacteria. There is a condition known as non bacterial prostatitis, which used to be known as prostatodynia, and is now commonly referred to as Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CPPS). CPPS mimicks all the symptoms of prostatitis, however there is no bacteria present.

and will the infection make my cum taste off?

is there anything else practical that i should know, my docotor didn't go over much, but i don't do well with anything medical, so i'm in and out as fast as possible.
If your doctor prescribes very powerful antibiotics, such as Cipro, and after a month or two you still have prostate problems, if could be that you have non bacterial prostatitis. I have had this problem ever since I was a little boy and I never told my Mom or my doctor. Now it is worse. You absolutely must have a urologist perform a cystoscopy. Insist that you are put under a general anasthetic. My prostate problems are due to stress.
