Too many erections

I hope I put this in the right forum

When my girlfriend touches me I get an almost instant erection. I can't so much as hug her for any period of time without having to worry about her noticing it. I'm scared to touch her too much or play with her. It makes me feel really ashamed since we can't do even something innocent without me getting an erection. She'll touch me and I have to make up some reason or do something to stay far away enough for her not to notice it. This has never happened to me before. She has noticed it before and said it was okay but I don't think she knows just how big of a problem it is for me and how much it keeps me from touching her

Is there anything I can do to get some control over it? I've tried thinking of something else but I can't keep my mind on something else when she's touching me.

Hmmm,

I get this sometimes, my girlfriend will lean on me and within 5 minutes ill have a solid erection... Easiest thing in my opinion is if your standing near her then put your hand in a your pocket and grab it to hide it. Works well for me, although she has noticed that whenever I put my hand in my pocket im hard, which kinda defeats the object.

I think the fact is that its just pure attraction. Nothing much you can do about it :P

Why does it bother you that you get an erection? I can understand there is a bit of embarrassment but women find it a compliment, not a turn off, nor do we think you are a pervert, it shows you are turned on & you like what you see/feel & we definitely would think it was odd if it did not happen. It does not matter that it happens in the most innocent situations, we are just glad it does!

Yeah my b/f and I will be laying on the bed talking or watching tv... and I'll look over and he'll have one LOL
and he's 27!!
I'm always like... oh my! what's that? lol
Sometimes he'll tuck it into the waistband of his pants.
Looks painful to me but he says it's not..and it goes away pretty quick.

I'd say it's def a compliment to your girlfriend, way to go. Just tell her you are very attracted to her--it's natural. No worries, she won't be creeped out.

I can't say that I've ever had this problem, but on the rare occasion I got one in public, I tried thinking about a really bad memory. Of course, in my life I have plenty to choose from, so finding something like that is easy. Unfortunately, it is also an instant good-mood killer, but for me at least it tends to work.

As for the girl finding it a compliment, it depends on the girl. Some girls will find it an indication of too much lust, others will think it's fine, and a few will want to search for a private/semi-private place.....

I don't know what she thinks of it since most of the time I think she doesn't notice it. She has said a few times how a couple of her old boyfriends were always hard and she didn't say it in a nice way but more of a frustrated tone of voice.

I guess it may just be me making a big deal out of it.

This brings up how I'm too pansy to do anything sexual with her and her giving me crap for it that I don't think I deserve. I have so many questions for you guys since this is my first real girlfriend I'll have to start another thread about this though.

well i think all guys have the same issue. either you walk around with it like nothing happened, tuck it up, or do something about getting it down...whenever i get one, i just let it be and she loves it! unless there are other people around

I have the same exact problem. There is this one girl that is really hot she flirts with me alot. The problem is when she does i usually get a hard on.

Even dancing in PE I do, is there any way to not get one? This has never happened to me before.
