adult circumcision

my boyfriend has been circumcised aged 21 and it is taking FOREVER to heal. The doctor said that we could have sex after about two weeks, but it's just not the case, he isn't even walking properly still.
Is there anything he/ we can do to speed things up?

Don't rush it, it takes as long as it takes - I was still experiencing pain after a month. You could however, encourage him to see his doctor/urologist again just to check things over.

Im having a hard time figuring out where to turn to, due to my uncircumcision I have caused a tear near the head of my penis and reopens during sex. Very painful

Talk to your GP or family physician and he will guide you in the right direction. I have a friend who swears you cannot do better than the local Rabbi who has lots of experience!

As an adult, I would talk to my doctor and take his recommendation. Incidentally, we women doctors refer, too. I have never done a circumcision but have given follow up care. Whoever said above that it takes as long as it takes is spot on.

Brandye the local rabbi is used to 8 day old foreskins not full grown ones. I dont think you can lie an adult on a pillow and give them a little wine and then circumsize them
