Questions about sperm count

Hey,

I always hear others refer to "sperm count". How is this "count" found out?

Also, if you were to masterbate, how far does this sperm count go down? Is it possible to masterbate so much that you run out of sperm temporarily?

Also, if you have a higher sperm count, when you ejaculate, do you shoot out more? And do you get a longer/more pleasureable orgasm?

Sperm count is gotten by taking a few drops of your ejaculate (from masturbation, usually) and placing them on slides that have index marks etched onto them. A technician looks through a microscope and counts.

Each ejaculate within a short time does decrease sperm count slightly. Not enough to be safe; you are still pumping out lots.

Your sperm count has little to do with your orgasm. About ten percent of the ejaculate by volume is sperm; the other ninety percent is semen. When men have vasectomies, they rarely notice a difference.

Indeed. The average ejaculation contains between 200 and 500 million sperm. And, as terryforsex indicated, it only takes one.
