hi everyone, i'm back on the board (i've been away for a while and i've had probs logging back into my account but hi anyway!)
ok, well i've been having sex with my boyfriend for several months now (around 4/5 months ish) we don't have very very regular sex (1nce every couple of weeks as we are still in our teens and are busy and all) and i'm worried as it always hurts me when he puts his penis inside my vagina. we have plenty of foreplay and i get soaking wet, but it always twinges a lot and when he's fully in me it's all fine and perfectly comfortable.
if we have sex twice in one night then it won't hurt me at all the second time...why does it always hurt me the first time? i'm pretty sure my hymen's gone so it's not that...is this normal and does it hurt other women every time they have sex when they're in their late teens? i am really worried there's something wrong with me!! how can i stop it from hurting me when he puts his penis inside me???
thanks in advance!!

I have been having sex for a few years and this will still happen to me on occasion if it has been awhile.[/QUOTE]
thanks demonbuttercup! lol i was trying to be as logical as possible. nice to know there's nothing wrong with me! thanks again - you guys are great (but we already knew that! :))
Pain in accepting a penis is almost always caused by tension in the muscles surrounding the vaginal entrance. The good news for you is that is quite easily overcome. In some women it gets worse and worse. There have been a few posts on that condition as recently as last week.
Keep relaxed and it will slowly dissipate. As Demon points out, we are all subject to this even after being experienced. Regular sex does reduce the tendency.
is he putting it all in? is that wen it hurts? that happens to me too. he would prob be hitting against the back which hurts some women. wen it happens i tell him to either go a bit slow till i get used to d 'pain' or else he doesnt penetrate that far in..... or obviously try changing position!! :) it depends on your position...some allow deeper penetration then others so obviously there's more chance of him hitting d back
ok just re read wat u wrote and might hav misunderstood.....if u meant that it hurts as he is putting it in the first time i've experienced that too. I've never really given it too much thought but i think it happens wen we wouldnt have had sex for a while. i dont know if this makes sense i'm no expert...just giving my opinion.
could be also maybe ur not thaaat excited or into it or tired or sthing so ur not as 'welcoming' as other times.

thanks this is pretty helpful...we don't have sex very regularly so maybe as the vagina adjusts to accomodate a penis, after a few weeks it goes back to normal size (i.e. tight) so that makes penetration after a few weeks/ a month a little bit sore when he enters? so it's not just me then? you've relieved me a lot! thanks!
