hey, my friend told me that having sex in a pool or any other underwater place can harm the girls vagina, and since my grilfriend and i are goin on a cruise, i was just wondering if that was true. he had told me that when water was able to go into the vagina (mayeb its the chlorine??) when aroused, it could cause some sort of screw up. thanks to nebody who can reply on this one

i dont know about it "harming" the vagina. i would imagine it is exposed just as much as if someone just swims in a pool.
the main thing is that the chlorinated water depletes her natural lube, making it more difficult to have sex. not sure about what lubes would work. oil based would probably do the trick but then they are not safe to use w/ condoms so its kind of a catch 22.

Silicone-based lube is safe to use with condoms, and I have found that it does not wash off as easily as water-based lube. So far, this has been an anoyance to me in the shower after sex, but I would imagine that it could be an advantage if one wanted to have sex in water.
The inner lips act as a natural seal with pressure from the outside actually closing them tighter in the water. Water does not enter the vagina in a pool or, even, tub.
Taking a penis intoo the vagina will also admit some water. The chlorine or other chemicals are not good for the vagina but generally do not do much damage. I have never been quite comfortable in a hot tub, pool or whatever but have used it for shock effect on the guy I am with.
