I'm looking for some advice on electro-stimulation. What does is feel like for women? Any guys tried it? Did/do you find it pleasurable? What are the best electro-stimulation box/devices to purchase?

I really want to try this but I cannot seem to decide what I should buy to start out with. Considering this stuff cannot be returned I don't really want to invest a lot of money in something that just won't be fun but I don't want to have to upgrade in 6 months either. I'm looking to spend $200 but might spend more for the right device. Anyway any comments would be great. Thanks!

If you are suggesting hooking up electrodes to my genitals, forget it. Electro-stimulation has some use in dealing with dystonia in various parts of the body. As for sexual stimulation, another fad dreamt up to get people to pay with no testing for long term consequences - even if it does actually stimulate.

My folks purchased an old Victorian home years ago that formerly belonged to a shirt-tail relative. As my dad was going thru the garage attic he found a rectangular wooden box with a large horseshoe magnet inside and a crank at one end. On the opposite end were two plug-in jacks, each for a tin electrode to be held or placed against the skin.

The instruction inside the lid said that this device was made back sometime back in the early 20th century and was for "medicinal purposes only". A friend and I tested it and depending upon how vigorously the crank was turned, we could get up to about 100 volts with enough current to dimly light a light bulb!

This reminds me of the movie "The Road To Wellville" that you can rent that in part deals with the life of the rich who spend summers at a Sanatorium for health and exercise and to learn about healthy living as it was conceived during the Gilded Age in America.

I'm with Brandye, no cattle prods, no Tazer, no stun gun. Testing a 9vdc battery and getting a tickle on the tongue is about my limit.

Not long ago there was a TV show on one of the satellite channels that showed various forms of torture from the the dawn of time forward. I think electrical stimulation is something I'd introduce into a relationship only after a lot of history and trust has been accumulated--and then, very very slowly.

With that, we're off to stimulate our pallets with some wine tasting at some nearby vineyards. Ta ta.....

I thank you both for the reply but I still think this may be something I want to try. I'm really looking for someone who has tried it to give me their opinion on how it felt (even if that feeling was bad). I'm not looking to take a car battery to myself so please don't get me wrong. I really just want a low sensation that can enhance my orgasm. I tend to be a very open experiment type of person and according to the films I have watched on it it seems like it can really hold something for me. But again I thank you both for your opinion.

I assume the link you sent me was for the prostate massage technique because that's what I found on the link. If this in correct...umm I think you have me in the wrong gender. lol. I don't do electric play myself. If my wife ever becomes interested I might. We do have friends who are into it. There are different devices, but it seems that the best and safest, but not cheapest, is the violet wand.
