Hello to all

Well I am looking to buy a new vibrator. I been looking at one called the waterproof jack rabbit; it looks like it could be fun has any one on here tried it; or any similar one?

If so let me know what you thought about it and if it is worth buying

Rechargeable that’s a good idea I did not even think about that thanks can you tell am a little new to the vibrator thing I was looking some up and that one caught my eye

You should also have a look around the "Good Vibrations" site. This is a San Francisco institution. It is an adult store without the negative connotations.

Personally, I do not like battery operated devices. Good ones work OK, yet it is often an expensive endeavor learning which ones are worth it and those that are not. I prefer plug-in units because they offer more options. Check out the Hitachi "Wand", and the Wahl "Coil".

The "Wand" has a baseball like head that is excellent for general massage. If you want to target a specific area like the Clitoris, then cap the ball with the palm of the hand and extend one or two fingers.

The "Coil" offers interchangeable heads, each for a specific purpose!!

Yes the Hitachi Wand is a great toy so I am told
but alas here in New Zealand they cost around $250 to $300
So I have to wait for Santa again lol

The biggest thing that I don't like about the Jack Rabbit vibrator is that there are only 3 settings for speed. Also, the material is stinky and has a tendency to lose it's luster after a while. I love my Vibratex Butterfly - it is much more powerful for rotation as well as vibration, it's much cuter, the material is safer and doesn't stink. You can't use it in the water, since it's not waterproof, but for a rabbit vibe, these are much better.

The biggest knock on the waterproof jack rabbit is the smell like suki said and the size. Its a larger vibrator and can catch you off guard. So keep that in mind if you are used to smaller sized vibes.

The other aspect of the smell also raises questions about what it is made out of. Some have worried if its toxic and therefore unsafe.

Finally, there are instances of it failing when submerged so there may be some issues of it losing its waterproof protection.

On the positive side many say this toy is very durable and lasts longer than the vibratex brands. The quietness of this model is also very appealing as it doesn't sound like its echoing all through the house. Throw in that you can separately control both the vibration and rotation of the head and you can dial in what you like more.

All in all you just need to do your homework. The toy review on this site is great. I have been a long time lurker and decided to start posting and commenting. Good luck with your search and I hope your next toy is a hit!

The Jack rabbit is great. Give it try and you will enjoy it. The toy is simple and straight forward and gets the job done as it was designed to.
