Lingerie

I am 23 and just purchased my very first lingerie (apart from the daily basics of cotton panties and off the rack at Kohl's bras)... I think what I bought is a "chemise." It's red, low in the front with some black lace following the bra line with spaghetti straps. I bought that and a satin dressing gown. I am unsure what to wear UNDER the chemise... I HATE thongs, and I also have the rear end the size of a small country (not kidding, I have some Latina friends who are envious). I mean, will a pair of lacy bikini panties work? My rationale is, the boyfriend is going to be tearing this all off anyways, and I would rather stay in my comfort zone... but I am also worried about basic being boring, but I did not want to dive head-first into the deep end and start with crotchless panties, and garter belts, and corsets...

I am also worried about the set-up... we missed v-day because we were both working, and so we are celebrating this weekend... I mean, usually we both just crawl into bed in flannel PJ's and if we are in the mood, there is no "set-up" it just happens... But I am worried about set up... do I just emerge from the bathroom in the dressing gown and invite him to take it off??? But what about candles or whatever???? I am not a fan of lights on, personally, but what's the point of lingerie if he won't be able to see it in the dark?

So I guess my thread here has two parts... lingerie and "set-up" for a more planned romantic encounter...

I can't speak for the other guys, but I love anytime that my wife puts in the effort to dress special. Anything you put on for his pleasure is fantastic. Whatever underwear you are comfortable with is fine. If it's outside the "norm" then it'll be hot to him. I had a GF in my younger years that wore nothing but thong. I found myself wishing she would wear bikinis and boyshorts. I guess my point is...different is good.

As for the set up, I did candles the other night and I think the lighting was perfect. You can see enough to get around and see everything you want to see. I was giving her a massage and a couple of candles did the trick. She's not a "lights on" kinda girl either and she seemed pretty comfortable.

I hope I've been some help. Have a great night.

dlb has a spectacular aura about
Set up OK I'll role with your terminology. What so many women and men don't understand is that effect use of lingerie requires set up. I come home, don't see anything different until I go to bed where I can't see the lingerie anyway and I ask-what's the point. The lingerie experience is about him enjoying you walking about, sitting, doing things, preferably for him while wearing lingerie. What's in it for you? You get to feel extra sexy knowing that he is totally into checking you out as you tease him. And then there's the sex.............
