Thank you for the p/m. I will reply here.

I replied to your first post six weeks ago and asked a couple of questions that you never responded to and clarified. In addition, I provided a link to the Index and suggested that you read the many helpful how-to articles. Apparently, you have not.

Skin deadening creams will not help with erection problems as you mentioned in the p/m. Loosing an erection and Premature Ejaculation are two different problems. Desensitizing the skin only helps with PE. I recommend that you don't bother because they will just mask the condition without giving you the real control you desire.

There is a handy article about this that you can read that details two methods for gaining and maintaining control. A third method is to simply masturbate an hour or so beforehand.

To answer the question, above, if and when a guy looses his erection, it has more to do with any one or more of the scenarios--

* loosing focus
* not stimulating the penis for a prolonged period
* extending lovemaking for a very long time and simply tiring out the mechanism that keeps you erect

Loosing focus can be innocent enough when we concentrate on our partner. If the penis goes for a period of time without attention, it will begin to get soft. The fix for both of these is to begin stimulating the penis--again.

If the two of you are having a very long make out session that goes for say an hour or more and you do not climax during this period of time then quite often your system just gets tired of waiting. The fix for this is as above, or to just take a break and start all over from Square One, later, after giving yourselves a rest.

Brandye is a jewel in the rough
I have never used this because I have no penis to desensitize. I have some concerns.

Similar products that are applied directly to the penis and rubbed in have been available for decades. They are essentially topical analgesics - think lanacaine. If added to a lubricant, they will be equally applied to the man and the woman. The woman needs no desensitization and will be likely object to numb labia.

I would not use a desensitizing lubricant. If you want some such, use one of the desensitizing ointments to be applied to the pensi. Then use a condom to prevent the woman from becoming numb. The condom may also be a help in slowing the man down.

I have to go with Brandye again here. I would not put anything in a vagina that could cause any sort of desensitivity. What numbs one person might cause a very bad reaction when in touch with sensitive tissue. If you want to experiment with such things use a condom and protect your partner's vagina. Treat it as a holey temple. Do nothing to profane or pollute it.

My man has used this and it did numb him but it did not work for his PE. This has led me to believe that it is a psychological thing.

The last thing a man with ED needs is something to desensitise.

May or may not be p-sychological. He needs to see a urologist.
