Exclamation Looking For A Better Condom

Hi everyone. My boyfriend and I are looking for a better condom for him to use. We currently use Trojan Magnums as he is quite large. He is a good 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 inches long and rather thick too though I'm not sure the exact measurements for that. Anyway, he can't feel hardly anything with the Trojan Magnum condoms on. We first tried regular condoms and he couldn't feel hardly anything with those so we decided to try Trojan Magnum condoms since he is so large. Well, as I said, that didn't work out. I don't know if we should try for a thinner condom or what. The ordinary condoms do fit him since they are rather stretchy but we need something where he'll actually be able to feel something. What should we try? Should we try thinner condoms or possibly a different shaped condom?

I don't buy condoms for men...try looking on condomania; see what other options he has, some can be custom ordered, try putting some lube inside of his before he puts it on....sounds more as if is trying to weasel out of wearing one.

Ok, I'll look on Condomania. Anyway, I don't think he is trying to weasel out of wearing a condom because he wants to wear a condom because he's afraid I'll get pregnant even though I'm on the shot.

Anyway, do you think that perhaps a thinner condom would help?

I doubt he is trying to weasel out either because the most common complaint guys have is the lack of sensation. Sera is correct, have him add some lube, although not to the condom but the Glans only of his penis. (You can do this for him!!) then roll the condom on. The lube will provide some wiggle room that will give some additional friction.

Another possible solution is to use natural condoms. These will not protect against disease yet are much better at transmitting friction.

Only you know him! But try as doc said a natural skin condom or add the lube in the interim and see if that helps.

Look on condomania; also another poster put up a link (yesterday?) about a place to find condoms...if you use the natural skinned condoms as doc said remember there is no protection from STD. Only the latex & Poly ones are suggested for that.

funinthesun has a spectacular aura about
I have a similar problem where I can be rock hard with a larger girth and a normal condom is painfully tight to the point I don't feel anything good. Trojan recently released a few new larger condoms. They are Magnum Thin, Twister, and Warming Sensations. The twister has a lot more head room, but is noisy and can bunch up. Some women like the feel of the extra bunched up texture, others find it irritating. The warming sensations is just a regular Magnum with their warming lube, and I really do not like those.

Polyurethane condoms such as Durex Avanti transmit sensation better, and are much thinner, however they are also much less stretchy and don't work for those with larger girth.

I would try Magnum Thin, Magnum XXL and Lifestyle's Skyn. The XXL version adds more girth and not length. Lifestyle's Skyn is a new type of material called polyisoprene. It is *not* the same as polyurethane. I greatly prefer these to the other latex and polyurethane condoms because they are extremely thin and transmit sensation very well and are also very stretchy. While I would prefer a larger width, the standard size does stretch around me and sex is enjoyable. They are more expensive on the order of about $1 per.

Hmmm ok. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you for your post. It is quite helpful. I will consider looking into the Lifestyle's Skyn condoms.

Ok thanks for the advice DancingDoc. I think I'll try adding the lube to the inside of the condom first and see how that works. Then, if that doesn't work, maybe we'll try the natural condoms.

There is a potential difference of interpretation between adding lube to the inside of the condom and lubricating the skin of the Glans only.

There is a good chance that people will apply the lube all over the inside of the condom and this is dangerous. Similarly, there is a reason why "only" is underlined. You want the condom to stimulate the sensitive nerve endings of the Glans yet cling to the shaft of the penis.

Oh ok. Thanks for clarifying this DancingDoc. So, I guess putting a drop of lube in the tip of the condom before he puts it on would be what you are talking about? Or are you talking about rubbing the lube on his glans before putting the condom on?
