O.k fellas..
Well not too sure about some of you but i wanted too just post some advice on male grooming. I know some women like there men in certain ways but for myself i feel most comfortable well groomed....Body wise. For myself the body hair in access is uncomfortable. So i always been the type to shave my chest hair and any hair even 1 on my shoulder or back area. And i always found the women i encountered were fond of a non hairy man. I had a relationship with a women a year ago who was totally into porn (like myself) and she was really fond of the male actors in the films with no pubic hair. So of course to follow her attraction i shaved off my crotch hair! The problem i faced was simple.. How tha F*@k do i do that! I tried a bic razor!............Bad idea! Besides the small nic's i got on my balls which burned like hell when i took a shower after it was painfull and uncomfortable! I tried hair clippers and again that proved o be just like the razor! You can cut the hair above ya dick but close to the balls and the hair on the balls is always a danger zone! And trust thats the area you wanna shave clean but smooth with NO nic's etc... I was in a drug store not so long ago and i found an electric razor very well worth the mention! What caught my eye was the print on the box.."TRIM & SHAVE ALL BODYZONES" Now its obvious on the box i dont think it can legally say "Will shave ya nuts without cuttin them off"! lol But i bought it and used it and i have to admit it is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Close shave! and leaves a smooth finish! I can press it against my skin down below and fully eliminate ALL the hair in the area and yes even on the nutz!!! Clean shaved, Smooth finish and after a splash of "Bay Rum oil based" (Which does NOT burn and is equal too after shave) i promise you any man who has ever wanted too or does shave this shaver is the best!!!!!!!! And oh yeah...I never have had a razor bump! Soooooooo fellas do the research. I dont wanna sound like a salesman but this electric razor really works and its waterproof. works wet and dry. Recharble internal battery with Dock included and it uses a Hypoallergenic Foil on the top so there is no irritation. $40 - Philips, Norelco "BodyGroom" Hope this helps anyone. Whats ya thoughts on a shaved man ladies?

This is probably an ad post.....
Anyway, one's size has nothing to do with whether or not you look like and/or are a boy. The Norelco Bodygroom is decent, but it's no more special than other mid-priced razors. You'll notice on the box that it says *not* designed for the face. That's because it's not a very close shave, and *isn't* a smooth shave on the rest of your body. It just doesn't feel quite as stubbly as a hand razor because it cuts the hairs flat from the top down and not at sharp angles from the bottom up. Almost all electric razors cut the same way. Depending on skin type, it can easily leave one still feeling very scratchy afterward or within the next day. The only notable thing about the Bodygroom is the fact that it has trimmers on each side of the foil to clip the hairs short enough to enter the foil, however women's razor's have had that function since the 70's. Oh, I forgot, it has a very funny website advertising it. Hair tends to clog rather quickly in the bodygroom, so if you do have one, be sure to turn it to the side and run water under each sides trimmer to prevent buildup. A higher quality face razor(around $70and up), will do a better job, and sugaring will do an even better job. Above $70, most of the price increase comes from "self cleaning" functions and not improved shaving which are simply pools of alcohol and glycerin that the razor is turned on in much like the clean button on blenders. And oh will EEK's hair bristle at the OP, heh. edit: I forgot to include not to use a rotary razor down there, as the very thin skin can get caught in the slots. Reciprocating motions with a fine foil guard is one's best bet. Last edited by funinthesun; 10-14-2008 at 11:19 PM.. |

Sorry but its not an AD post.
Again i dont work for the company or anything like that i just found the product and thought it was worth the mention. And all of those issues you discussed i have never encountered. The hair clogging in the razor??? maybe if you look like a wilderbeast or wanna attempt to shave full length hair! and yes its NOT intended for your face because the razors are not the same (I would imagin) nor are they as close as a razor intended for your face....whatever man it works perfect for me so again i thought id suggest it too those looking like i was. thats all. no need for debate.

I shave my balls and the base of my shaft in the shower with a disposable razor, have been for years, and I have never cut myself. Everything else just gets trimmed though.

I love a man who has little body hair. I love the happy trail, but that is about it. I prefer no pubic hair, no chest hair and absolutely no back hair! I personally find back hair to be a huge turn off. So, yah, I like manscaped men. Even better if they wax so there is no stubble.
