I shave around my balls every other day. Yes, when you first do it their is irritation shortly after or the next day. I shave every other day because of the stubble reason stated in a previous post. I prefer women smooth and bare, with the exception of a true redhead I love to see the trimmed "fire bush". My thinking is if I ask a woman to do it the least I can do is the same. I prefer a woman to be smooth because I hate going down on a gal and the distraction of a hair in my mouth and stopping to take it out.

Not having a partner, this question is not too relevant for me. However, when I did have a wife, she would not to filetio if I was hairy so I did shave. I think it is a matter for personal choice that does require a lot of communication.
