Question about the Hitachi Magic Wand
My wife and I have a Sharper Image Massager that looks just like the Hitachi Magic Wand. We have been looking at getting some of the attachment heads for the magic wand, but are not able to find to find the dimensions of the head on the internet. First I was wondering what was the best attachment to get for it. And second I was wondering if anyone had a hitachi magic wand and could measure and tell me the size of the head, or if anyone had any other brand massager and some attachments and could tell me the size.

Magic Wand
I used to have a Hitachi and loved it loved it loved it. The only "attachment" I used was my hand. If I wanted a probe, I cupped the ball with the palm of my hand and extended one or two fingers. Secondly, using your hand over the ball also reduces the intensity. You can massage the body using the outside edge of your hand or similar very nicely. I now have a different albeit similar type of vibrator that I do not like nearly as much.
I also had a Wahl "Coil" and it comes with all sorts of attachments. Google it. Sorry, I can't give you any measurements; however, before you go out and spend money, try using your hand and see what results.

The head of the Hitachi is 2.5" across, I believe. The one you have is probably the acuvibe which is about 2" across. There are different types of attachments for these kinds of massagers, but I do not know if you can use them with both models (I doubt it).

If the attachment is made of jelly, it will probably fit both, as jelly is extremely stretchy. If it is silicone, vinyl, or similar more sturdy material, it probably won't fit the Acuvibe but might with some lube and stretching. Note, don't use silicone lube with silicone products - they will dissolve. If an attachment is too large for the massager, you could always go buy some Silly Putty at a dollar or toy store and wrap the massage head in it then put it on. Silly Putty molds between to two to transmit motion extremely well. You can also wrap it in plastic wrap for ease of detachment later.

wand attachment recommendation
My husband and I got the Gee Whiz and I have been MORE than happy with it. The Gee Whiz has a nice bend to it and a bulbs head so it hits me just right. It is about 4 inches long so it is nice and not to deep once you press the base of it up to your clitoris. (wow)
It is made of silicone so it is safe for washing in the dish washer. We got ours from Sugarplumsonline and they sent out a coupon for 10%off code is 90219 Here is a pic. ![]() |

Thanks for all the help and feedback...but
here is another add-on for both the Hitachi Magic Wand and the Accuvibe or any other massager that is of similar shape and size. I thought this was pretty cool: http://www.howsyourbuddy.com/

Oh, yeah, I've heard about that. When you said attachments, I was thinking more along the lines of things to put on its head.
