Niki,

It is about time to do a search or consult a book on polymerization. Instead of getting little bits of information, you can actually learn a bit.

Most toys that are phthalate free now have little logos on the package that says so. Only items that are glass, metal, wood, elastomer or 100% silicone are phthalate free.

ok im glad i found this thread. about 6 months ago i bought a jelly dildo and everytime i use it it makes the inside of my vagina burn. So today i got online to check out what its made of thinking i may be allergic. I learned about phthalate and considering its a jelly/rubber material im assuming thats the culprite. But i havent read anything about burning sensations due to sex toy products made with phthalate. Has anyone else heard any such complaints?

Some people are allergic to jelly and/or rubber. Try silicone or glass.

Jelly and Rubber products also cause burning for me. I avoid them at all costs.
