I agree! Just when you thought you have seen and heard it all, another person manages to come up with something new and different! If the majority of people ever knew what presents in the ER, many would re-evaluate what they do or use much more caution! I have learned; if there is an orifice(s) someone will find a new thought on how to plug it up!

I heard of a guy who threaded a series of metal washers on to his penis, which then had to be removed by bolt cutters after his penis swelled up.
Also heard a story told by a doctor who worked in New Guinea. A young man was sunbathing on an old WWII wreck in a harbour, and he idly slipped his penis into a rivet hole. Well, you can guess what happened, his penis swelled up and he couldn't get it out. Apparently, a large crowd of people gathered around, and offered all sorts of advice. One suggestion was to cut it off, which he wasn't too happy about, not surprisingly. Eventually, several people grabbed hold of the guy, and pulled hard until he came free. Ouch!!

I would never use a metal one myself. I've used a soft gel one, which is easy to slip off in an instant.

A not on strange sexual mishaps. When i was in high school I attended a youth leadership conference on medicine and listened to many speakers, one of which was an EMT from San Francisco. When asked about the weirdest call he had ever received he described a situation that had a man and his partner inserting a claw hammer into the man's anus. The hammer got stuck and when they tried to remove it it tore up the lining of his rectum. They waited 3 days to seek medical attention. The man survived, but needed 6 surgeries for removal and repair. YIKES!

I've posted elsewhere on another cock ring thread. Start off with some rubber/silicone rings. Try 1.125" behind the glans, 1.25" on the shaft and 2" around both the penis and scrotum. Once you're sure how they fit and go on and how easy it is for them to come off, you could move to metal. I have a variety of designs and widths in silicone, aluminum and stainless steel, in silver, red, and black. Look at your local hardware store for stainless steel "harness" rings. Around me, I can find stainless steel rings in 1.25", 1.5" and 2". One inch rings are common for behind the glans, but try the larger 1.125" first.
