Sex toys lower desire for partner?

id like to ask a question that I have always pondered, but never been through. it seems to me like if my partner buys a sex toy such as a vibrator, that she will have less of a desire for me, because it can obviously do things that no human being ever could. she sometimes suggests that i could use it on her, but that seems very impersonal, using a machine to do what I have been doing the last couple years myself. any help with this issue would be greatly appriciated. am i just looking at this the wrong way?

These are great replies. Think of vibrators and a few other toys as enhancements or extensions to what you do while making love.

Yea, toys dont replace the real thing...ever... they just enhance what is already happening.
I like to use a vibe on my clit while my b/f is thrusting.. it just makes it THAT much better!

demonbuttercup my wife like the same thing.A bullet on her clit when I'm in her really get's her quick.

Incorporating toys is in no way impersonal. Think of it this way, she must have a good amount of trust in you to want to experiment with toys with or in front of you, because how many people do you know who pull out the chest of toys the first time?

To answer your first concern, toys do not give your partner less of a desire for you. It is true that an extended use of toys alone can get the individual to be used to that feeling, and therefore make it easier to orgasm with the toy, but if you are only incorporating the toys in and not using them soley, that should not affect her desire for you in any way.

Absolutely agree with demonbuttercup. Toys will NEVER replace a real thing...only an addition and some kind of substitute when you have no choice. However, they might be VERY helpful in some cases. They are opening a new possibilities and ways to pleasure:)

Most of the people here have already answered this question, but i will also put my 2 cents. Things like Cock Rings and Vibrators are excellent in enhancing sex, they don't replace you. Don't warrie men aren't going to die out, and be placed... :)

Things like Cock rings are excellent aids that you can wear while having sex, things like Vibrators you can use on your partner before, during, after or all three if you like. They are especially good for women who are not as "Sensative" as some other women.

Things like Duo balls are excellent if your partner dosn't like things like shopping, trust me, with Vibrating duo balls anything will be a pleasure, I can even get my partner to pay the bills and get the mail.
