My boyfriend and I finally took a shower together...only we didn't really shower, we just fooled around. But for some reason it seemed way more intense! I was completely aroused and I don't think he could have gotten any harder. I thought about why it seemed more enjoyable than just doing it in bed, maybe its because we're both naked (usually he keeps his shirt on when we're in bed and only I'm completely naked. I think he's a little insecure because he's a little over weight and I'm fine with that), or maybe its the hot water and steam from the shower. I'm assuming that you mean in the shower. If so, what you should do is try to avoid direct contact between your vagina and the water because that can remove any natural lubrication and make it harder for him to enter. Additionally, you can try using a water-based lubricant.
If you were speaking about under water (such as in a pool, hot tub, etc), ensure that the water is clean first and foremost, because water can be pushed into the vagina and if the water is dirty, it can cause an infection. You can also try the water-based lube in this case as well (but it might dissolve under water, so try to get it in soon after you get into the tub). I heard that J-Lube is the best for this purpose (never actually tried it). Good luck.

Just wondering... when you say clean does that mean just a tub of water or would some soapy suds be ok?? never tried doing it in the water coz many have commented on the possible risk of infection and that its not the easiest of things to do.....oh and you can' t use a condom!! :(

Soap should be fine, but when I say clean I mean - a public tub might not be so clean because other ppl would be in there often and such. Obviously a personal bath tub, that you can clean yourself would be cleaner than a public tub that might not be cleaned as often.

Actually a silicone based lubricant is best for use in water situations as it doesn't wash away. Its water proof and lasts much longer than other lubes too.

yes it is true, it is not recommendable to do it in the bath and in the shower you also want to be careful, in any case water will wash away natural lubricant

Yea, it's true. The reason behind this (that I know of), is the possibility of getting infections from the water. I don't know if there's a bigger reason for concern other than infections though.
Sex in the shower is cool, however it starts to get too wet and you loose the feeling!
