Is sex really the same with everyone?

No, it is not true. Physically, all the same stuff is there doing about the same things. The differences are subtle but VERY noticeable. The mating of any two sets of genitals is a bit different in feeling from any other sets of genitals. There is an excitement with the first several times that disappears after a while because things become predictable. I have learned something with every man (and woman) who I have had as a partner. If we all "knew" the same things, the world would be very dull.

I've only been with one person, but no.
You will share different feelings with different people. You will connect in different ways to different people. One person may like one thing, another may not.

It's just like friends in general. Each friend you share something different with. The same goes for each partner.

Well, you are welcom! Have you ever wondered why the question arose in your mind? Or why your husband answered as he did?

This is actually a hard question to answer... without knowing the framework.

To a degree the answer is both yes and no.

If you view sex as putting one organ into another... well, the differences are minimal.

But that ignores the reality that there are different levels of skill involved in what goes on before the organs connect.

It also ignores the reality that "sex" is (for most people) an expression and form of communicating feelings.

So.... the question is... why ask the question?

My instincts tell me there's a reason...

OK; those questions will never leave you. There is much good in what you have.
